Overcoming the Limitations of Modern Medicine
Memories of Prenatal Life: Gateway into Our Consciousness.
Japanese Prenatal Memory researchers Introduced Consciousness of the Unborn Babies.
Dr. Akira Ikegawa has been touching many souls of parents, especially mothers, and changing the lives of people all around the world. The concept of Prenatal Memory has been researched for more than 20 years and is instrumental in solving many cases of difficult parenting situations such as a miscarriage, a child suffering an ailment, or being born with a physical handicap. Currently, this concept has been applied through different professions and practices throughout Japan.
Overcoming the Limitations of Modern Medicine
This is a transcript created from the video titled, "Overcoming the Limitations of Modern Medicine".
The challenge with modern medicine in the field of obstetrics, I think is the period of pregnancy, birth, and parenting...
Naturally, human lives should be a consistent flow starting from conception to death, however, it is divided by childbirth. We are lacking awareness of consistently raising a person from conception is creating a huge problem, I think. One of the goals of the obstetrician is to have a safe and smooth delivery. Especially in Japan, we are focusing on reducing the number of children with disabilities.
For this purpose, guidance is given in the form of medical examinations and a goal for the mother is also set for safe delivery.
Then, after giving birth, babies are going to see a pediatrician, and for obstetrics, you don't see an obstetrician, you go to a gynecologist or others. Life is supposedly a continuum but we are offered fragmented health care which is not holistic so I think that is causing the problem. The dogma of science so far is that we are not human until we are born or maybe we recognize that they are alive but do not identify them as a baby.
Therefore, we perceive that after birth is the beginning of life. If we apply the perspective of Prenatal Memory, at the moment of conception, or even before conception there are quite a few "conscious bodies" that are telling us that the baby is already connected to the mother.
Originally, we are born with...what we usually call "the soul", The soul is choosing how we are born, what are we born to do, and why did we choose this location, and we need to include all these elements, and to be conscious. Modern science and modern obstetrics do not pay any attention to the realm of consciousness.
I believe the consequences we are facing such as... anxiety with raising children, difficulties with parenting, child abuse, a lack of self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, suicide, or even they may end up becoming abusers in the end. If all the children are born with dignity and receive consistent support and care then perhaps anxiety with raising children, difficulties with parenting, child abuse, and suicidal ideation would be drastically decreased in my opinion.
Professionals have no awareness of this concept and the prenatal period is a complete black box and most of them would consider that it does not make much sense.
However, Dr. Thomas Verney and many others at APPPAH are researching for nearly 50 years about this and they are researching the parenting environment and the relationship during the gestation period would tremendously affect the development of the children.
I have been applying the same idea at my clinic and building a relationship with the baby during pregnancy would offer a good nurturing environment and the conventional way of medicine and the ideal obstetrics practices should switch from focusing on safe delivery to the children becoming a respectable adult. I believe the concept of Obstetric practice for future generations calls for considering how the children would become when they reach adulthood and applying it into my practice.
It's not very common for the general public to understand this concept but I've been in obstetrics for 30 years and personally, I've now come to this idea and it is a very crucial point as a result of my practices.
